The City of Sierra Vista welcomes citizen involvement. The following boards were established to assist City Council in gathering information about important City functions. Board members are appointed by City Council to serve two-year terms with a limit of three consecutive terms. If no vacancies are available, you may still be able to participate as a non-voting associate member.
Employee Benefit Trust
The Employee Benefit Trust was established by Resolution 615 to oversee the City’s self-funded employee health program. The board consists of five members appointed by the City Council to serve in staggered three-year terms.
The Employee Benefit Trust Board meets on an as-needed basis.

Municipal Property Corporation
The Municipal Property Corporation was established by Resolution 578 in 1980 for the financing of the cost of acquiring, constructing, reconstructing, or improving buildings, equipment, and other real or personal properties suitable for use by and for leasing to the City of Sierra Vista, its agencies or instruments. The board consists of five members appointed by the City Council to staggered three-year terms.
The Municipal Property Corporation holds an annual meeting on the first Tuesday in November, or as needed.

The Police Pension Board was established by Arizona Revised Statute (ARS) 38-847. Four members serve four-year terms. Members must consist of two public safety employees and two citizens.
The Police Pension Board meets on an as-needed basis.
