The Cove’s wave machine is offline for repairs

Adam Curtis Public Affairs Press Releases

The wave machine at The Cove had to be shut down on Wednesday due to technical issues and will remain offline until further notice while needed repairs are identified and completed.

The Cove’s new wave machine debuted at the first Open Swim of the season on Sunday and will typically be in use during regular Open Swim hours at the aquatic center. While the machine’s technical kinks are worked out, Open Swim hours will continue without the waves. The Cove’s Open Swim summer hours run from May 31 through July 31. The hours are Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Repairs are also being completed on the facility’s slides, with those expected to be completed next week.
