Spotlight Breakfast video premieres Thursday

Adam Curtis Public Affairs Press Releases

It’s almost time for the City of Sierra Vista’s annual Spotlight Breakfast and this year residents need not worry about reserving a seat or getting dressed to impress.

This year has brought more than its share of challenges for our whole community, from residents and business owners to the City itself. In lieu of its typical annual state of the city gathering, the City of Sierra Vista is releasing a Spotlight Breakfast video that acknowledges some of the unique challenges and opportunities the City’s been presented with in 2020, while also detailing many of its recent accomplishments and plans for the future.

The video will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 6:30 a.m. on the “City of Sierra Vista” Facebook page. It will also be available on the City’s website at and can be viewed any time after its premiere.

“There is no question this has been a uniquely tough year and we’re not yet through dealing with COVID-19 or the hardships associated with it,” Sierra Vista City Manager Chuck Potucek says. “Yet, we’re pleased to share how the City is making progress on key strategic priorities and how residents have stepped up to do their part too, as we all navigate an unprecedented year together.”

The Spotlight Breakfast video will also be sent out in a special Thursday edition of the City’s weekly email newsletter. To sign up for the newsletter, click the link on the City’s homepage at or click the “sign up” button on the “City of Sierra Vista” Facebook page.
