• What the ALPR cameras detect — and what they do not detect
• Department policies governing ALPR use
• System usage information and activity data

Usage information includes:

• Data retention timelines
• The number of ALPR cameras in operation
• The number of vehicles detected in the past 30 days
• The number of hot list alerts in the past 30 days
• The number of searches conducted in the past 30 days

The portal also identifies which law enforcement organizations have access to data collected by the City of Sierra Vista’s ALPR cameras.

This initiative reinforces SVPD’s ongoing commitment to responsible technology use, transparency, and maintaining public trust.
