 Station #1

Fire Station #1 is Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Service's first and original Fire Station.  The facility houses one type 1 engine, one type 6 brush truck, one ALS ambulance and one reserve ALS ambulance.  Built in 1974, this station consists of two apparatus bays of a drive-through configuration and double depth with an additional apparatus bay in the back of the station. 

Although Fire Station #1 currently houses a crew of 5 personnel who cross staff the ambulance, the facility is configured in a manner that can accommodate additional personnel and equipment.

Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Service's Station #2 is a three-bay station that is currently housing two aerial ladder trucks, one type 6 brush truck and an ALS ambulance in double depth, drive-through, bays.  The facility is configured for use by career crews and includes dormitory style residential quarters that can accommodate up to six responders.  A single Captain’s office and an additional two residential quarters also house two additional responders. 

 

Station #3

Built in 2009, this station serves as Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Service's main fire station and includes the administrative offices.  The facility consists of three, double-depth apparatus bays of a drive-through configuration, housing one type 1 patient transport engine (PTE), one type 3 brush truck, a hazardous materials equipment trailer and a 6x6 UTV. 

Fire Station #3 includes the fire department’s administrative offices, consisting of six individual offices, a conference room and a large classroom that can seat up to 20 students.

 Fire Station #4 is an EMS Sub-Station recently build with a grant provided by the Department of Defense and the City of Sierra Vista cooperation.  The facility finished construction in 2022 and houses two ALS ambulances and is currently supported by two full time EMS providers and an EMS Supervisor.  

 

Ft Huachuca Contracted EMS Services

Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Services is proud to provide 24/7 contracted Emergency Medical Services to Fort Huachuca. Two ALS ambulances are housed on Ft Huachuca, which are staffed by 2 person crews. 

Fort Huachuca Fire Station No. 2 is is located on the corner of Irwin Street and Railroad Avenue. This station houses Medic 205, which has 24/7 coverage of the majority of the Fort.

Black Tower, located near the West Gate is the home of Medic 206. This crew is tasked with responding to calls at Black Tower and the area near the West Gate. This crew is on duty Monday through Friday, or whenever Black Tower personnel are in place at the site.
