2025 Spotlight Breakfast Recap

More than 175 people gathered in the Cochise College Community Room on Tuesday, Aug. 12, to hear from City leaders at the 2025 Spotlight Breakfast.

Attendees learned about the City’s recent accomplishments and plans for the future. Assistant City Manager Victoria Yarbrough presented on the progress of City Council's 2024-2025 Strategic Leadership Plan, while the 2026-2027 Strategic Leadership Plan was revealed at the breakfast. This plan lays out objectives to accomplish in the next two years.

City leaders also shared an update on the general economic outlook of the City, complete with challenges and opportunities, and highlighted how the City has worked with various people and groups to improve our community during a Partners in Progress discussion panel featuring City Manager Chuck Potucek, Community Development Director Matt McLachlan, and Tourism and Economic Development Director Tony Boone.
