The Sierra Vista Public Library is holding an early sign-up meeting room lottery for the calendar year 2019. As in the past, a lottery system will be used to assign appointment times to each group wanting to participate. Applications can be picked up at the library or downloaded here. Completed applications must be submitted at the library by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30.
By submitting an application to the lottery, groups will procure an appointment time on December 13 to meet with a librarian and determine the availability of the meeting rooms for the coming year. There is no fee to reserve a meeting room in the lottery but only nonprofit groups may participate.
Due to an increase in programming, the rooms available for lottery this year are as follows:
- Large Room — Most Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
- Small Conference Room — Most days and times the library is open.
Other City meeting rooms available to the public include rooms in the Oscar Yrun Community Center and the Ethel H. Berger Center, although a fee is required. Call (520) 458-7922 to check on available space at one of these facilities if the time you would like is not available at the library.
