Attention individuals ages 55+ and caregivers for an older adult, this is a class is for you. Seniors are a growing demographic group and national treasure. It is well documented that good nutrition can play a significant role in health maintenance and disease prevention. A healthy diet can also reduce healthcare costs by minimizing medication expenditures. Seniors pay the most of any age group in medication costs. But, it is also harder to cook and eat well when it is just one or two in the home. Learn some new ideas for cooking, eating, and shopping for health. Registration is required.
