Guided Nature Walks – CANCELED

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, repeating until October 31, 2020
In accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, and the White House, the City of Sierra Vista is cancelling or postponing this event.
Wander up an easy, shady trail amidst more than 170 species of birds, 400 species of plants, Chiricahua leopard frogs, black bears, and dozens of species of butterflies. Southwestern specialties such as painted redstarts and magnificent hummingbirds may be seen by visitors. Leaders focus on birds and share information about The Nature Conservancy work here and beyond. The tour takes about 2 hours. Entrance fees are $8 per person. Conservancy members and Cochise County residents, $5 per person. Children under 13, free.

For those hiking up the canyon trails, hikers must return to the parking lot by closing: 5 p.m. summer hours/4 p.m. winter hours. Gates are locked promptly upon closing.
Please note: Parking at the preserve is limited and if full, visitors may be temporarily turned away. There is no parking along the road and no reservations are taken.
