Refuse changes take effect March 1

Refuse fee and rate changes take effect on March 1. The City is also allowing private haulers to offer curbside recycling service in Sierra Vista and will close its recycling drop-off facility on March 1. Learn more.

CDBG apps due March 5

The City is requesting Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program proposals from non-profits and other eligible entities. Projects must be in Sierra Vista or provide services to Sierra Vista residents. Applications due March 5, 2020, by 4:00 p.m.

Sierra Vista's Code of Ordinances is available in a searchable database from American Legal Publishing Corporation. The City Development Code is integrated as Chapter 151.

The City has a variety of surplus items like furniture, supplies, equipment, and even vehicles available for sale on our public auction site.

The City is evaluating development fees. A public hearing on the Land Use Assumptions and Infrastructure Improvements Plan will be held at the City Council meeting on Thursday, March 12, at 5 p.m.
