The Commission on Disability Issues was created by Ordinance 866 on August 23, 1990 and re-established by Resolution 3702 on October 24, 1996. On May 28, 2020, Resolution 2020-028 was approved that dissolved the Commission on Disability Issues and re-established it as a City Department-affiliated nonregulatory Commission.
The purpose of the Commission on Disability Issues is to act as a liaison between the City and the disabled population of the City.
CoDI meets on quarterly in the City Managers Conference Room in City Hall. Agendas and minutes can be found online.
The Disability Resource Guide will help you identify and locate local, state, and federal organizations that provide assistance to the disabled.
