SVPD raises over $10k for Special Olympics Arizona

The Sierra Vista Police Department hauled in more than $10,200 for Special Olympics Arizona with the help of 28 participating teams at the 13th Annual Bearcat Pull for Special Olympics on Sunday, Sept. 30. That’s the most teams, and most dollars raised, in the history of the department’s signature fundraiser!

The department would especially like to thank the Southeastern Arizona Contractors Association for its ongoing support of the event and Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative for fielding 10 teams!

Each team pulled SVPD’s 18,500 pound LENCO Beacat a full 25 feet as fast as they could. Teams were divided into four divisions. And the winners are…
