Artists sought to host Youth Arts Festival activities

The Sierra Vista Arts and Humanities Commission and Cochise College are seeking proposals from artists and craftspeople to host activities for children in kindergarten through eighth grade at the Youth Arts Festival in February.

The 2020 Youth Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sierra Vista campus of Cochise College, located at 901 Colombo Drive. This free event engages children in hands-on art-based activities and performances the whole family can enjoy.

Activities can focus on a variety of different arts to include 3D art, 2D art, theater, music, dance, creative writing, and crafts. Individuals selected to host activities will be provided with basic supplies, lunch, and a $50 stipend. Volunteers will be available to assist with activities.
