2020 has been a turbulent year full of worry, frustration, and hope. Were you able to shift your energy and create art? Does your artwork tell a story of the way you, your family, or community has struggled with or overcome this year’s obstacles? Whatever you’ve created, the City of Sierra Vista Arts & Humanities Commission invites residents of Sierra Vista and surrounding areas to submit your art of 2020.

How to enter

Email photos (JPEG/PNG) or links to videos (YouTube/Vimeo) of your visual art (paintings, drawing, sculptures, etc.) and/or performing art (poetry, theatre, song, dance, etc.) created in and inspired by 2020 to

The exhibit is open to area residents of all ages. The submission deadline has been extended to March 31, 2021.

Entries will be celebrated in fall 2021 at a live event, which will highlight all performers and artists who entered. The exhibit will take place at the Sierra Vista Public Library, along with the new community ceramics mural being placed there.
