Most City facilities will be closed on Friday, July 3, for the Independence Day holiday. The Cove aquatic center will remain open for normal hours on July 3, and will be open on Saturday, July 4, from 1 to 5 p.m. for Open Swim. There will be no morning or evening activities. The Sierra Vista Public Library, Art Studio, and Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center will remain open on Friday, July 3, and be closed on July 4. The Henry F. Hauser Museum will be closed on both July 3 and 4.

Thursday's trash pickup will shift to Wednesday, July 1, and Friday's pickup will be on Thursday, July 2. There will be no special pickups on Wednesday.
