Street maintenance along Coronado Drive south of Avenida Cochise will continue over the next few weeks to perform deep patch repairs where the roadway settled low, creating dips in the street.

Currently, crews are finishing paving the new patches along Coronado Drive between Avenida Cochise and Copper Dust Drive/Goldstone Street.

Starting on Tuesday, June 9, street maintenance on the road will move south on Coronado Drive from Goldstone Street to just south of Moraga Way. The parts of Coronado Drive between Avenida Cochise and Buffalo Soldier Trail that are not under construction will be open to neighborhood traffic only. There is no route for through traffic. To access points north or south of the work residents will need to detour along Avenida Cochise and Buffalo Soldier Trail.

To access the Coronado Crossings Phase I neighborhood, residents will need to access Coronado Drive from Buffalo Soldier Trail and then take Gaviota Place into the neighborhood. To access the Silverado Neighborhood, residents will need to access Coronado Drive north of the roadwork and take Goldstone Street.

The Coronado Crossings Phase 2 and 3 Neighborhoods will either need be accessed from Buffalo Soldier Trail or Winterhaven Drive to Coronado Drive, but all normal neighborhood access roads will be open. The Copper Sky Neighborhood can be accessed north of the roadwork from all normal access points.
