A section of Fry Boulevard in the West End will be closed on Saturday, April 18, for West Fest. Area businesses will be accessible from alternate routes and will be open for normal business hours.

On April 18, Fry Boulevard will be closed between North Garden and North Avenues from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. for the annual West Fest street fair. The event will take place that day from 2 to 8 p.m. and includes live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, a chalk art contest, and activities for all ages.

West End businesses will be open for normal operating hours during the event and will be accessible from secondary roads. Event attendees are encouraged to explore local businesses while attending the fair, and to avoid parking in business lots if possible. Some limited parking will be available on the City’s property on the southeast corner of Fry Boulevard and Fab Avenue.
