The local Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children (AZ ICAC) task force arrested two separate individuals last week, stemming from separate investigations in Sierra Vista.

On Friday, July 11, 2025, detectives from the Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a male subject without incident for sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains confined in the Cochise County Jail on $75,000 bond.

The investigation began in March 2023 when an electronic service provider reported that an account registered to the suspect had transmitted child sexual abuse material (CSAM) over their servers to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). NCMEC forwarded those leads to the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children (AZ ICAC) for investigation by local agencies. After further investigation a search warrant was obtained for the suspect’s residence. Detectives from the Sierra Vista Police Department and special agents from Homeland Security Investigations secured additional evidence during the search.   

Then on Monday, June 21, 2025, Sierra Vista Police Department detectives arrested a female suspect at her residence. 

In early July 2025, the Sierra Vista Police Department received a NCMEC Cybertip from the AZ ICAC regarding a Sierra Vista resident who had transferred CSAM onto a social media chat platform. On July 21, 2025, HSI special agents and SVPD detectives conducted a search warrant at the suspect’s residence and arrested her without incident. She was booked into the Cochise County Jail on two counts of sexual exploitation of minors, bestiality, and possession of a dangerous drug. She remains in jail with a $125,000 bond.
