The Sierra Vista Public Library provides free access to information, programs, and services for all community members. At the library, you’ll find a vast collection of materials for youth and adults, including movies, video games, eBooks, eMagazines, and even bicycles!

To sign up for a free library card, please bring in your photo ID that has your current Cochise County address on it. If your ID isn't updated yet, just bring in a piece of mail that has your name and address along with your ID.

Funds raised at the Little Library Bookstore and proceeds from the sale of books at the Friends Bookstore benefit the Sierra Vista Public Library.

Paper Poppies Project: Memorial Day Red or Desert Prickly White

Fashion a red poppy in memorial, or a white one to celebrate spring in Sierra Vista. Honor the legacy of Memorial Day by crafting your own red tissue paper poppy. Red poppies were adopted by the American Legion in 1920 as its national symbol of remembrance. Desert prickly poppies are making their appearance now. Look for the tall white flowers growing along roadsides in our area. No experience necessary and all materials provided. (Ages 16-160)
