The Sierra Vista Public Library provides free access to information, programs, and services for all community members. At the library, you’ll find a vast collection of materials for youth and adults, including movies, video games, eBooks, eMagazines, and even bicycles!

To sign up for a free library card, please bring in your photo ID that has your current Cochise County address on it. If your ID isn't updated yet, just bring in a piece of mail that has your name and address along with your ID.

Funds raised at the Little Library Bookstore and proceeds from the sale of books at the Friends Bookstore benefit the Sierra Vista Public Library.

What are beavers really doing on the San Pedro? Cochise College researchers explore how the American beaver, reintroduced in 1999, is reshaping river habitats and influencing other wildlife. Drawing on monitoring efforts since 2020 and recent biological sampling, this talk reveals how these busy rodents are changing our ecosystem on the river.
