Picture Book to Paper Art

Get ready for some snowy fun—minus the cold! We'll read the vibrant and imaginative picture book Snowballs by Lois Ehlert. Ehlert uses found objects like buttons, fabric scraps, and natural materials to create unique, frosty friends on the page. Inspired by Ehlert’s distinct collage style, participants will use a variety of provided materials to craft their very own unique "snowball" collage artwork to take home. This program is for youth of all ages.
