Manhole work requires lane restrictions

Adam Curtis Public Affairs Press Releases

Sierra Vista, AZ.  12/05/16. Work to repair several local manholes began today and will require further lane restrictions at two sites along Fry Boulevard this week.

A contractor began work at the first site today and it will continue through Wednesday, resulting in lane restrictions at the intersection of Fry Boulevard and Highway 92 between about 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane both north and south of the intersection, while southbound traffic will only be restricted to one lane on Highway 90, north of the intersection.

The contractor will also conduct repairs at several other manholes later this week, starting on Thursday. It’s anticipated that this will result in some lane restrictions in the area of Fry Boulevard and Fab Avenue between about 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday.

Motorists are asked to drive with care while workers are present in these areas.
