Sierra Vista, AZ.  10/18/16. Sierra Vista Police Chief Adam Thrasher, in cooperation with Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels, invites local citizens to attend a community forum on law enforcement set for Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m. in the Sierra Vista Police Department auditorium.

The forum will cover a variety of topics to include community safety and security, citizens’ perceptions of and confidence in law enforcement, and the Sierra Vista Police Department’s plans to implement a body-worn camera program. Law enforcement agencies must work hand-in-hand with their communities to be effective and this forum will provide residents an opportunity to ask questions and offer input.

“Sheriff Dannels and I believe it is vitally important to keep open communications with the community in order to provide the best possible service to our citizens,” Thrasher says. “This forum is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a dialogue with the public and to keep the community informed.”
