Chess improves strategy and prevents "Summer Slide", so we welcome you to battle it out using logic in this special program designed for your brain. All levels are welcome to attend. There will be a finale tournament in July for those who qualify. This is a drop-in event and recommended for ages 8-18.

June 6 - have a Water Balloon Fight with friends and youth services staff June 27 - play Messy Twister (wear clothes that can get covered in paint, and bring a spare set to change into) July 11 - play capture the flag July 25 Tie-Dye items, bring clean 100% cotton items to tie-dye!

Using our sewing equipment from they library's makerspace, staff will lead textile art's classes for youth and teens. Join us in June for "Totally Tutu's", and learn to make a cute, no-sew tutu for yourself or someone else! "Duct Tape Design" is the theme for July, where youth can make fun duct tape projects like a wallet or jewelry. This event is recommended for youth ages 10+.
