All the food donations / proceeds will go to Peach's Pantry, Inc. Price: $3.00 or 3 non-perishable food items (granola bars, pudding snacks, single serve pudding, oatmeal packets, etc..). This is a "follow me" tour. Carpooling is suggested. The roads are a mixture of dirt and pavement (mostly dirt) but all are passenger car friendly, and we go slow, following the original routes between towns as much as possible. The tour will start at 10 a.m. at the Cochise Hotel in Cochise and wind up around 3 or 4 p.m. at the Gleeson Jail in Gleeson. Grand Central Mill processed silver ore from the Grand Central Mine in Tombstone. The mill is located one mile north of Fairbank in the SPRNCA. A Friends docent will explain the history of the site and show the remains of the mill, mostly the foundations where the 200 foot long, multi-story building once stood.
