Cruz Jujutsu is a derivative of Japanese Jujutsu developed about 75 years ago by Professor Fering Cruz of the Philippines. Developed for practical use, it encompasses throws, locks, strikes, escapes and constriction techniques. Practice, free-form or structured, is partner based. Instructors teach this art in its “traditional” form. This is not a “ground fighting” jujutsu class. Because of its partner based training method, safety and awareness are heavily stressed. The emphasis is on self-defense, but a study of the art itself is encouraged. Ages 6 +. The class fee is per person, per session.
Sessions are Wednesdays and Fridays:
Aug 23 – Sept 20 (no class Sept 8)
Sept 22 – Oct 18
Oct 20 – Nov 17 (no class Nov 10)
Nov 22 – Dec 27 (no class Nov 24, Dec 1, & 15)
Dec 29 – Jan 24
