The San Pedro River, named one of Last Great Places by the Nature Conservatory, features some of the richest wildlife habitat in the United States and is one of the last free-flowing rivers in the Southwest. The walks are about 1 1/2 to 2 miles long over easy terrain. Please wear appropriate attire for hiking and weather conditions, and bring at least one quart of water per person. Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted.
For additional information, please call (520) 417-6960 or visit www.sanpedroriver.org.
Note: The San Pedro House will be closed for roof repairs during the week of Feb. 7, with work taking up to four weeks to complete. All other areas outside of the safety fence will remain open to the public. All river walks and bird walks will take place as scheduled.
