Several City facilities and the City’s website will be unable to process transactions for about 48 hours starting at noon on Friday, June 8, while a software update is completed.
Payment processing will be unavailable at the following facilities starting at about noon on Friday: City Hall, the police department, the Pedro Castro Maintenance Center, Fire Station 3, and the Transit Center. Transactions at the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center and all Leisure and Library Services facilities will be unaffected by this update.
All online services for billing sewer and sanitation customers, processing business license applications or renewals, and accepting permit applications will be unavailable while the update is being conducted. Vendor self service will also be offline. These services, and in-person transactions at affected facilities, are expected to be available again by Monday, June 11.
While affected facilities will still be able to accept cash or checks in person, those transactions will not be processed until the following week. Permit and business license applications will also be accepted at City Hall but not processed until at least Monday. City customers are urged to find an alternate time to make these transactions when possible.
