Seniors Helping Seniors

Do you need help with certain projects? Maybe you need some gardening advice. Looking for a house sitter, or someone to watch the fish? Perhaps you need help grocery shopping, or with trips to the doctor. Then take advantage of our area-wide referral service. The Seniors Helping Seniors Program is designed to match seniors with skills and time with seniors looking for help.

Seniors who would like to be registered for the program should go to the Ethel Berger Center or call and ask to have a job referral form faxed or mailed to them.

Persons looking for assistance from the older population can contact the senior division to be matched with a prospective employee.

Please make sure before you engage a senior for a job ask “Is this a volunteer job?” or “How much will the entire job cost?”

For more information contact Chris Swan at 439-2300.
