Code Enforcement

Code enforcement officersThe Neighborhood Preservation division is responsible for handling all complaints, inspecting sites, issuing citations, and performing other code compliance efforts.

You can report a suspected code violation by calling (520) 417-4413 or use the My Sierra Vista smart phone or web app.

All complaints are considered confidential, and you may report suspected violations anonymously.

All code violation reports are reviewed, and a code enforcement officer visits the property to verify the complaint. Once verified, the officer will place a note on the front door indicating what is in violation.

Common property code violations include overgrowth, litter and debris, blocked sidewalk (vehicle, basketball hoop, etc.), junk vehicles, illegal dumping, and work without a permit.
