Bearcat Pull hauls in $8,000 for Special Olympics

Adam Curtis At A Glance

With 17 teams competing, the Sierra Vista Police Department’s 12th Annual Bearcat Pull for Special Olympics raised about $8,000 for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arizona on Sunday.

This year we were excited to see newcomers like Tohono O’Odham correctional officers and Pima County Sheriff’s Department deputies field teams. It was a fierce competition and fun event as teams pulled the Sierra Vista Police Department’s 18,500 pound LENCO Bearcat a full 25 feet as fast as possible!

Here are the winners. Congratulations to all participants for helping raise money to support a great cause!
